URBANLET

URBANLET is the franchise name for The London Letting Agency. The franchise was launched in September 2006.
I have built two websites for the URBANLET franchise:
-
http://www.urbanletfranchise.co.uk
This site advertises the URBANLET franchise to prospective franchisees. The site allows browsers to download a prospectus in the form of a PDF, browsers can also sign-up (using their e-mail address) for a 7 part mini course (once someone signs up, the site automatically sends 7 dynamic HTML emails at 2-day intervals).
-
http://www.urbanlet.co.uk
This is a working example of the website franchisees of URBANLET will get as part of their franchise. www.urbanlet.co.uk shares the same functionality as The London Letting Agency's website (click here for more details.) This is a good example of reusing code and a very useful exercise in web development from my own personal point of view.
Both of the above sites were developed using PHP/MYSQL and the pages were built using hand-coded XHTML/CSS templates.
All graphic design was carried out by myself. Over the course of the project I was constantly liaising with the development team (comprising of the managing directors of the compaines involved, a branding expert and a senior web developer.) Though the timescale for the project was very tight, all deliverables were hit and the franchise is now up and running.
Along with site design, I also carried URBANLET stationery design (business cards and letterheads), vehicle livery (for the URBANLET Minis) and press advertsisments (which, to date, have appeared in Loot and Latest Homes.)
